On Saturday, we spent some time with family tailgating at the University of Michigan vs. Wisconsin game. My sister goes to U of M and got us the tickets for our birthday/Christmas gifts. My parents have season tickets.

My mom made some great football tailgate goodies… homemade Chex mix bags and caramel chocolate covered pretzels with football helmet sprinkles! Everything was decorated with maize and blue, of course.

I made some dirt cake cups and decorated them with footballs and U of M pennant cupcake picks.

My dad grilled us up some delicious hamburgers and bratwursts as well.
The crowd flooding in to the stadium…

Pre-game show…

Some fans couldn’t decide who to root for…

You wouldn’t know it by the final score, but the game did in fact start off even, tied at zero…

U of M in the process of being trampled on by Wisconsin…

Although Michigan lost horribly, a great time was had by all! Thanks to my sister for the tickets and to my mom and dad for the delicious food…
I wish you all a great Thanksgiving filled with family, friends, food, and football!
